Failure, to thrive?

SIL had a baby 2 weeks ago. Veranlaßt with 39 weeks, carried baby to weigh 5 pounds, 9 ounces and 19 inches long. There is to believe reason, thereß her/its/their mother she/it a diet, in order to avoid, does looked at to increase, won only 7 pounds, that granted to her.

She/it was up to 5 pounds, 5 ounces with 6 days. Now, with 15 days, she/it hasn\'t won or lost more everything. MotherMother nursed and rejected to ergänzen, although begins with the Arzt\'s soon maybe demands.

My questions:
1, could the low weight be the mother, who does a diet, because of the baby?
2 are this failure to be thrived? What could this cause? I am sure, thereß the doctor for internal problems, but that checks, what could be the cause?

I ask because I let my SIL rubbed in her/its/their weight profit, I won 20 with my two pregnancy, therefore I this thickness into the family, and now, that her/its/their daughter will always be dainty, uncanny.

My first was a preemie with 4 pounds, therefore I am no stranger to small babies. IchIch is a stranger to the attitude.

Father is 6\'5, and SIL 5\'8 is by 250, and by 200 with a family history of big people is 6\'6 and 250 pounds her/its/their daddy, his/its mommy was 6\'2 and 300, you get the point,..., if that is important at this point.

Also, SIL-Arbeiten with a hospital, took the classes prior to birth, but still rejects to support her/its/their baby\'s head. Don\'t weiß, when however, a role in it could play this, but I know that she/it hurls her/its/their daughter around like a ragdoll every time if we are there.

from cottage, I agree to MH. Können you, you encourage also your SIL, feed, to mark her/its/their baby, & allows her/its/their unrestricted access to the breast to guarantee maximum stimulation of her/its/their breasts & best milk supply? If baby pees, & pooing regularly & otherwise well could simply be she/it a small weight gainer. But it sounds like SIL, is already under a Paed, they place auf\'t much knows thereover like exclusive nursing works & except if there is a medical reason, why baby needs a supplement, that as well as baby & her/its/their mommy way better healthwise is, at exclusive breastmilk, to stick.
